About
In the world of commercial growth and operational excellence, there is a fine line between a plan that looks good on paper and a strategy that actually moves the needle. Nordtrail was founded to bridge that gap.
I’m Roger Verburgt, and I’ve spent over 25 years navigating the complex landscapes of Customer Experience (CX), SaaS, Cloud, and Unified Communications. My career has been defined by a simple philosophy: innovation must be backed by profound logic. Whether I’m leading a regional sales team across EMEA or architecting a new channel strategy or go to market, my goal is always to act as a catalyst for positive, well-organized change.
My name is Roger Verburgt and before launching Nordtrail, I spent over two decades in leadership roles at global tech giants. My experience isn't just theoretical; it’s battle-tested:
Cisco: As Director of Regional Sales for the EMEA CX Practice, I led high-performing teams to drive growth through outcome-based selling and CxO-level engagement.
Avaya: I spearheaded channel development across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa and made the move into leading the sales efforts through the indirect sales model early.
International Expertise: Having managed business units across Europe, Middle East, Africa and beyond, I understand the nuances of cross-border operations and diverse cultural environments.
I’ve been recognized as an "Achiever" and a leader of "Manager Excellence" multiple times—not because I follow a script, but because I know how to adapt leadership to the specific needs of the moment.
The name Nordtrail reflects my belief that business, much like a great expeditions, requires the right gear, a clear map, and the grit to handle unexpected terrain.
When I’m not helping organizations unlock their commercial potential, you’ll likely find me sailing, golfing, or exploring the great outdoors. My passion for photography helps me keep a sharp eye for detail , while my love for camping has taught me that the best solutions are often the most practical ones.
I bring that same "explorer" mindset to my clients. I respect existing operations, but I am always looking for the "trail" that leads to higher efficiency and better outcomes.
